Maid Brigade, a national residential cleaning company, strengthens its authority as a green advocate through the launch of a series of educational web casts about green living. The series pinpoints hidden dangers found in the home generated by cleaning products and other indoor air pollutants. The company enlisted the help of Green Living expert Annie Bond to educate people nationwide about the health risks associated with common household products and what people can do to protect themselves and their loved ones. A Cause for Action
After learning from the Environmental Protection Agency that indoor air quality can be up to five times more polluted than outdoor air Maid Brigade has invested a lot of time and resources researching the most effective green cleaning products, equipment and procedures to incorporate into the Green Clean Certified™ system. During that process the company realized how harmful certain cleaning practices and chemicals can be and decided to take action. Maid Brigade has played an active role educating their customers, employee and the general public about green cleaning since 2007 through its work with Bond and by developing www.GreenCleanCertified.com, a site dedicated to green living.
A recent scientific field study concluded that Maid Brigade’s Green Clean Certified™ system removed three times more particulate matter in the home than leading competitors. Additionally, the vacuums used by the company remove 99.9 percent of particles in the air that cause the most concern for triggering asthma and allergic reactions.
“I commend Maid Brigade doing their due diligence to develop a truly green cleaning system,” Bond says. “But I give them even more credit for caring enough to implement this educational initiative. I hope that our efforts reach enough people to make a difference.”

Who are we?

crossimage1207_forweb Who are we?

Maid Brigade Of North and West Las Vegas is family owned and operated by the Cross Family for about 3 and a half years.  I am Brandon Cross and I am the owner/operator of Maid Brigade and run all the daily operations with help from my wife Laura.  Darlene Cross, renowned Marriage Family Therapist for 13 years here in the Las Vegas Valley is my business partner as well as my mother.    We have all been in Las Vegas for over 15 years so we are really considered Las Vegas Natives.  What we feel this brings to our Family owned business is a sense of familiarity to the Vegas life that some companies may not have.   The uncontrollable dust, the hectic lives, the funky schedules …the list goes on.

We consider ourselves to be as hands on as owners can be.  You don’t have to live long in Las Vegas to realize the level of customer service out here is anything but acceptable.  Since we are a simple business in the fact that we clean homes, our foremost focus is customer service and customer satisfaction.  We pride ourselves in being there for the customer to lead them  through their cleans, answer their questions and basically make their housecleaning as effortless as possible.

What makes us different from other Maid Services??

Well lots of things.  Lets face it cleaning a house is cleaning a house,   its not exactly rocket science.  In my former life I was a chef so I like to use  culinary analogies.

The things that make us different from other Maid Services are the same things that make a difference in a fine dining dinner……the  ingredients we use  to yield the best, safest  and most consistent finished product possible.  For example the Chemicals we use to clean with, the vacuum we use in your home, our color coded  cleaning system,  our  professional licensed, bonded and Insured Maids and most importantly our 5 star customer service….. these are all examples of top notch ingredients to yield a fantastic finished product.

We may not be perfect and nobody is.  However we strive to make sure if we do miss things that we fix them in as timely a manner as is possible.  You need only call me at 792-MAID

Things to look for and ask for when looking for Maid Service….

If you don’t choose us, please look over some of these things and make sure your Maid Service is using OR doing at least some of the things stated below

Color Coded Cleaning System- This is pretty simple, but you would be surprised how many companies do not apply this system.  We use orange towels for bathrooms, yellow towels for the kitchen, green towels for dusting and finally blue towels for mirrors and glass.  If your company is cleaning everything with one color towel how do you know if they just cleaned your master toilet with the same towel they are wiping off your baby’s high chair.    Worse yet, maybe a previous customer’s toilet!!   You don’t know!  Its not just gross, it can be dangerously unsanitary!    This is a no brainer system that ALL maid services should be required by law to do for the health of you, your home and your family!  If you don’t hire us go to Sam’s Club and buy color coded towels for your service to use.

Equipment-We supply everything that is needed to clean your home from the towels to the vacuums to the trash liners.  If at any point you have a desire for Maid Brigade to use your vacuum or one of your cleaning materials we are more than happy to meet your request.  Simply call me or email me at bcross@maidbrigade.com and the request will be taken care of.

Licensed, Bonded and Insured- If you do not hire a company that is all of the afor mentioned things you are putting yourself in a very vulnerable position.  Especially in the Bonded and Insured area.  When or if things are broken or come up missing don’t you want a place to turn to?  I would…

Also if you hire a maid on the side you are obligated to pay all their taxes and keep track of all of their legal obligations to working in the United States.  By hiring Maid Brigade all the legwork is done for you.  When our maids clean your home its as if they were cleaning our home from a quality point of view as well as liability point of view.   All areas are covered.

Uniformed Maids And the Maid Brigade Car- All our maids are in Khaki Pants, a Maid Brigade Shirt, a Maid Brigade apron and a name tag. The uniform gives them a professional appearance and makes them “feel” like maids.  Much like a white jacket makes you feel like a chef.  Also the Cars we have are all wrapped with Maid Brigade Logos.  Yet another appearance of professionalism and more importantly  a safety factor.  You and your neighbors will always know when Maid Brigade is inside your home.  Plus the phone number on the car is a quick reference should you have any concerns or any special needs.

Turnover- As most folks can imagine this business has a history of very high turnover.  Not just Maid Brigade but any service based business where people work VERY hard and are limited to where they are able to excel.   We are proud to boast one of the lowest turnover rates in all of the United States for Maid Brigade.  Out of 12 employees 10 have been with us for 2 years or more and of those ten at least 5 of them are working on three years with the company.  We provide as good a work atmosphere as this business can provide and we pay very competitivelyif not better than the average maid service.  The maids are paid for holidays, get vacation pay and have flex days to use at their leisure.  They are also on an incentivize bonus program that ultimately leads them to push to do the best job they can for our customers……

Why do I say all this??  I am not just bragging, aalthough we are quite proud of this .  I really bring this up to give our customers a piece of mind that we ABSOLUTLEY know the type of people coming in to clean their home aand its a matter of time til our customer gets to know them as well.

BBB and COC–Lastly we are proud “Honor Roll” members of both the Better Business Bureau and the Chamber of Commerce

For any questions, concerns or to set up an appt please don’t hesitate to contact me via email bcross@maidbrigade.com website www.maidbrigadecom or simply call me at 792-MAID….

Thank You
